Client testimonials

"Maureen and her team were very efficient in obtaining our visas in time.

She is very helpful and has a great connection with some external consultants to complete a business plan and to get the best presentation for the U.S. authorities. A trustful person!"

We would like to give you a very positive feedback about our experience working with Donovan.

We used them for getting our US Visa as investors, and they were very efficient, precise and gave us full satisfaction. We do recommend the services of the Donovan Cabinet without hesitation.

"Our company is extremely satisfied with the services the Donovan Law Offices has provided. Ms. Donovan worked directly with us for three months to ensure a smooth process in securing an L-1 visa for our COO. She advised us on which forms were essential and others that were more lax. Ms. Donovan was impressively responsive in her communication and made herself available when we inquired. Her office took the stress and uncertainty out of our application by compiling and submitting it for us. We were very pleased when we interviewed with the American Embassy and they provided us with our L-1 visa on the spot. The American Embassy themselves told us what a rarity it is to award a visa on the first interview and thanked us for having such a complete application. We wouldn't recommend going through the visa process without the Donovan Law Office."

When you cross a new country you need good partners around you. Ms. Donovan worked personally with us; we could call her anytime, day and night. She was always available for answering our sometimes, annoying questions. She was also a wonderful coach for preparing our interviews. We received our visa after the first interview. Thanks so much to the Donovan Law Office.”

Interholding is a French Group of companies providing technical assistance all over the world, to the industries of energies. The Group is based in France but needs to be represented in strategic locations, mainly where there is Oil & Gas and where our clients need us to be organized locally for administrative and taxes purpose.

As the Group is still growing, I had the feeling that it was time to propose our services to our clients based in Houston (World capital of the O&G industry). Starting from zero, like being at the foot of a pyramid, I needed to organize my own and family relocation.  I met Maureen several years ago, and during that time she transitioned to France. Understanding the Donovan agency specializes in immigration issues, I decided to ask her to assist me.

First of all, it was necessary to create an Interholding subsidiary in Houston. Maureen helped us a lot by providing us the details of a talented lawyer, American based in France and French fluent. The subsidiary has been registered in Houston for a very reasonable price.

Secondly, the question was to get a visa for my family and I. Thanks to Maureen, who, as an expert and after assessing my case, proposed me to apply for a L1 visa. We decided to apply for the L1 visa and started to complete all the documentation (huge work and timely).

As part of the file, we had to provide a detailed business plan. Once again, Maureen found the right lawyer, at a reasonable cost.

As our huge file was built, too slowly, the application was sent to the federal office a little bit late. As further information was requested by the administration, the L1 visa was provided to us in October, but only for 8 months. My children started school in France in September, so I decided to postpone the family relocation to the next year, in August 2015 (nota: L1 visa expires July 24th meaning it was needed to renew it before leaving). As I decided to postpone our relocation, I did not make business from Houston, then no turn over for the Subsidiary. Without any benefit or turn over, it was not safe to

re-apply for a L1 visa.

Maureen found the correct way to turn around the problem. As we made some investments by creating the subsidiary, by traveling to Texas and other expenses, Maureen proposed me to apply for an E2 Visa. As the file was already prepared for the L1 visa it was much easier to prepare the new file. We just had to review the file and simplify the business plan.

Maureen explained to me that this E2 visa is delivered from the US Embassy in Paris with a shorter process; two weeks after applying we have been invited to the interview in the US embassy in Paris.

We have received our E2 visa for all the family and were ready to relocate in Houston in August.

It has been a long process and stressful, however without Maureen taking care of the process it would have been a nightmare. Thank you Maureen, thank you to your team, thank you to the lawyers that participated to this success.
